Support & Menu Specialist

ONOSYS is seeking a bright, enthusiastic individual to join our support team. If you thrive in a technically demanding fast-paced environment, can concisely describe technical or abstract concepts to customers and coworkers alike, then we're the team for you! In this role, you are the first line of phone and email service for our clients and will become an expert in resolving their day-to-day issues. In addition to responding to client service requests through email and by phone, your duties will grow to include updating menus and restaurant settings as you become more proficient in the ONOSYS software.

The Support & Menu Specialist wears many hats: tier-1 and tier-2 product support; menu analysis, entry and engineering; ONOSYS product expert; lunch organizer and package signer. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, love working and keeping up with a passionate/competitive team can quickly comprehend new software, think creatively to solve problems, and will continually improve company processes and culture. Although a support role, there is no scripted responses of resolution flows; you must have previous experience learning on your own, and a desire to contribute immediately.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support by gathering client information and determine the best course of action
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resources
  • Apply technical expertise, product knowledge, and problem solving skills to drive the diagnosis and resolution of reported issues or requests
  • Track and manage issues and tasks using industry-standard tools
  • Apply critical thinking to attack often abstract, complex problems
  • Support senior team members in training new clients on administrative support functions of ONOSYS system
  • Be a jack-of-all-trades within the ONOSYS team: carving turkey at Thanksgiving, creating support documentation for clients, or ordering lunch on Fridays for the team
  • Provide rotating after-hours/ weekend support

Must Haves

  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a technical environment, preferably in a support or administrative role; working knowledge of web-based/SaaS products is huge plus
  • Ability to translate knowledge within cross-functional teams
  • Fluidity in translating technical jargon and processes to non-technical users
  • Proficient working across Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Must thrive in fast-paced start-up environment and relish wearing many hats.

Client Engagement Specialist

Part project manager, part problem-solver, part product expert, the Client Engagement Specialist is responsible for all facets of online ordering within an assigned portfolio of dedicated clients; in this role you provide the support, project implementation and general guidance to an assigned portfolio of clients.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, love working and keeping up with a passionate/competitive team, can quickly comprehend new software, think creatively to solve problems, and will continually improve company processes and culture. The Client Engagement Specialist demonstrates an understanding of the client's business, their needs, expectations, and requirements. The candidate must be willing to get their hands into the work at all levels, including menu maintenance and occasional product support, in addition to obtaining and documenting client signoff at key points during a project.

Primary Responsibilities

Candidate must have ability to work in a team and desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic atmosphere. Major consideration will be given to candidates who exhibit a strong work ethic, flexibility, energy, and ability to foster teamwork.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts
  • Identify and thoroughly document bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Review requirements and specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client needs

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of work experience in software development
