Pizza Pan
Problem
Within a few years, Pizza Pan had grown from a few units to having over 80 locations across the country. It was competing directly against national chains, which had an upper hand on the technology front. Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, and Domino’s were all implementing online ordering. Pizza Pan did not have market share like these large corporations, but the firm still wanted to provide an online ordering solution to their customers.
Approach
By using ONOSYS Online Ordering System, Pizza Pan had the tools necessary to have customers place their orders through the web. Stores only needed a fax machine, so a chain wide roll-out had little barriers.
Results
To date, sales on the system have increased over 50% each quarter with average online orders being 30% higher than call in orders. Moreover, Pizza Pan has been able to create a customer database of over 16,000 Pizza Pan Fans. Today, over 80% of the locations have adapted the online ordering engine into their operations.
